Eli Whitney Elementary School

On Monday, November 11th, our school community recognized Veterans, especially those near and dear to our hearts. Eli Whitney Veteran relatives were invited to begin their day with a special breakfast, followed by a whole school clap out. Veterans then had the opportunity to visit classrooms to read stories and take part in special activities with students. We thank and appreciate all Veterans for the sacrifices they have made for our freedom! A special thank you to former Whitney teacher, Lynn Wilcoxson, for organizing this special event.
